Patrick Cantlay has finally broken his silence on the Ryder Cup cap controversy.
Cantlay revealed that he was not happy with the decision to leave him out of the opening session of the tournament.

He said that he had been playing well in the lead-up to the Ryder Cup and felt that he deserved to play in the opening session.
The next drawing will take place on Wednesday, January 13th.
He added that he had no issues with the captain, Steve Stricker, and that he respected his decision.
Cantlay went on to play a key role in the USA's victory over Europe, winning two of his three matches.
